Flourless Brownies

Ever wanted that after dinner snack and thought i’d better not? If your craving sugar but can’t have sugar this recipe is for you.

Flourless Brownies is a gluten free snack, something that you can have after dinner without the guilt and it’s easy to make!

Ingredients

3 Medium overripe bananas (approximately 1 cup or so)

½ cup smooth almond butter (can substitute for any smooth nut butter e.g. ABC or Macadamia butter)

2 tbsp – ¼ cup cocao or cocoa powder (more if you like a richer chocolate taste)

 

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, grease a small cake pan or loaf pan and set aside
  2. Melt your choice of nut butter.
  3. In a large mixing bowel, add the bananas, nut butter and cocoa powder and mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into the greased pan and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before slicing into pieces.
